Cabo was the perfect balance between relaxing and adventurous and that’s a huge part of why we enjoyed our time there.

If you’re looking for a more chill vacay, staying in a resort may be the best fit. All the accommodations are accessible and so you don’t have to worry about the logistics as much.

If you’re looking for some adventure, seek out activities & excursions. Every popular travel destination has a bunch of activities you can partake in. Do some research beforehand or if you already know there is a lot to do, you can wait to book some excursions in person. Choose what best suits you and what you’re looking to gain from the experience.

We loved our recent trip to Cabo San Lucas. We’ll be sharing what we did & loved and ate & loved in our next couple posts, but we wanted to also share our top tips for vacationing there.

The current rules for traveling to Mexico from the U.S. allow you to get into Mexico without any covid tests or proof of vaccination. However, you do have to get a negative covid test the day before your flight back to the U.S. Our resort included complimentary rapid tests, which made it super convenient. Make sure you check with your hotel/resort or airline about covid tests before you book.

Be careful for solicitors at the airport once you exit the arrivals area. They will try to sell you tours, stays, etc. just tell them you’re not interested and you already have your trip booked.

In terms of transportation in the city, the cheapest option is using Uber. We had to taxi whenever we left our resort (because the rules didn’t allow Uber drivers to come in through the gate) and it was a total ripoff (3x what Uber drivers charged).
